Question
QUESTION: Hello one day i went to a Strip club.. I was wearing my jeans but 5 minutes later lowered them a little bit, so i was in boxers(underwear)now. So she did a lap dance, initially naked , but when  i lowered my pants (2 minutes later) she put her underwear back on.
There was no penetration whatsoever but i have the question that if she was HIV positive could have I gotten it?

ANSWER: Dear Pablo:

Peace.  If you were not exposed to vaginal secretions or blood you could not contract HIV.

Best to you.

Terry

QUESTION: Terry one last question. How could I know if I was exposed to vaginal secretions. Obviously i did not have any wetness o visual things, but could the virus stay on my boxers (microscopic). In your opinion could I have been exposed to the secretions?

Thank you

Answer
Dear Pablo:

Again, peace.

If she was infected, if your boxers were wet with her fluids, you might have been exposed.   An exposure does not mean you would be infected.  There need be sufficient:
Amount of fluid from an infected person;
Concentration of virus in those fluids;
Duration of exposure to the fluids;
Frequency of exposure to the fluids, and;
Route of entry through skin or mucous membrane.

In reviewing these factors, which mediate an exposure becoming an infection, I see in your situation no real risk of transmission of the virus.

I hope that is more helpful.

Sincerely, and with continued best wishes,

Terry
