Question
dear Dr,
I have severe dry eyes , mouth and skin. Iam afraid that i could be hiv +ve although ELISA tests are -ve untill 14 months of the possible exposure so what you advise me to do since there are some long seroconverter(some of them seroconverted after 18 months) also my CBC at 9 month after the exposure showed high lymphocytes level and low neutrophill level also i had rash in my body in month 12 especialy in my arms and neck. sorry for my weak language and thanks.

Answer
The vast majority of people seroconvert by 6 months after infection. So, if you have been tested 14 months after possible exposure and continue having negative results then you are negative. However, I would advise you to see a doctor and find out why you are having the symptoms you are having.
