Questionfeb 7 had a encounter with me being passive in anal intercourse, i put
the condom on the head of the penis and realized it was the wrong way
so i flipped it over , dont know if any pre cum was on his penis and
contaminated the condom, we proceeded to have sex, he didnt cum in me and
the condom was in tact for the whole time. 10 day later had a 24 bug
with watery diarhea and 101 fever, then for got about it. may came along
and i had my second attack of pancreatitis and i was hospitalized,
while i was there they had me on i v cipro and flayl as a percaustion, when
i got out looked at my tongue and it looked like acute atropic tongue,
called my doc and he prescribed nystatin 3 times a day for 2 weeks,
the spots went away alittle. than they started getting bigger again,
about this time i was freaking out so i went and had an oraquik advance
saliva test it was neg, this was 4 month since the episode of flipping the
condom over. now they have me on diflucan, no one can seem to think of
what is going on, and the diflucan is not sending it away either, what
should i do, i know my immune system must be low since i am a nervous
wreck. please help
mY question are as follows
do you think my exposure could of lead to infection
does it sound like my 24 hour bug was ars, and how accurate would be the saliva test with erythematous candidiasis going on , and wouldnt diflucan cure this
AnswerOk, if there were preseminal fluid on the outside of the condom, then theoretically, yes, transmission is possible, if the other person is HIV+.
I cant address your symptoms though- your doctors are best for that.
If you had a test at 4 months post exposure that was negative, that to me says you are HIV-. Some people take longer to seroconvert but it is such a small number. The vast majority of people would seroconvert by 4 months.
