Question
why hasnt a cure for aids been found?

Answer
because this is a complex virus we're working with.  It attacks your T cells which are very important to your immune system.  HIV/AIDS is an auto-immune disease, meaning it attacks your immune system to where it cannot fight off anything hardly.  Advancements are being made and they're looking at a vaccine right now which is something I just found out about.  I am not sure if it will help people that already have it or not but I know they're getting closer.  There is also word from a certain psychic, I am not sure how you or others feel about those, but psychic Sylvia Brown has announced that by the end of this year (I think) that they will find something to put it into remission.  I guess it all depends on what it is you believe.  This is an exciting field to be in and we're getting closer to a cure everyday!  I hope this helps you out with your question.

Experience

I am attending school for my licenses to teach in Cell and Molecular divison, this is a recent change in my career I was going to school for surgical technology. We have to know all about STDS and other diseases. My personal experience is I have HPV. It is not AIDS or HIV but it is a STD that can cause cancer. I had to deal with the stages of feeling dirty and unworthy and scared. I think that I can help people get past this and further their knowledge of HIV and AIDS.
