Question
Hello,

My friend toook an antibody test and also a p24 test it came out negative. she hasn't had sex she just took a test because of a bad mother who is hiv+ who use to threaten to infect her with hiv,and also about the kings college hospital  it was 4.5 weeks ago they both came out negative...yesterday she started having a hot temperature very hot nothing else just the temperature what could this be i am thinking stress what do you think

Answer
Dear Vanesa:

Perhaps I was unclear.

1)  IF your friend's mother is threatening her, this sounds like an abusive situation and she should get help.

2)  Your continued description of your friend's symptoms suggest she has a health problem that needs attention from a health professional as soon as possible.

Please write and let me know how she is doing after she gets the evaluation and help she needs.
