Answer
Dear Umair:

Peace.  Take a deep breath and relax a bit.  The chances of your having contracted HIV from receiving oral sex are very, very low.  Depending on where you are, you may be able to access a testing clinic, and some of these do not require that you provide your name; in this country they deal with people your age quite often and can help with counseling and testing.

I am not a physician but have studied and worked in both HIV and mental health.  Some of your symptoms may be due to the stress and worry - going to a testing center and talking with a counselor should help.

I wish you the very best and encourage you to talk with a counselor and be tested for your own peace of mind.  I would also share, as a parent, that there will be many things as you are growing up that may upset you parents; consider telling them anyway.  They are your strongest advocates and can help if you let them in on your struggles.

The very best to you and your family.

Sincerely,

Terry
