Question
What does having a 4.0 have to do with knowing the facts about hiv. The reason i wrote you in the first places is so that you would stop tell people wrong facts about hiv.You learned that ten min stuff from your friends you can't prove that. What i'm trying to say is no hiv specilist, cdc, or hiv reseacher will ever tell a person hpw many minutes hiv last outside the body. Now when it comes to needles thats totaly diffent from evoirmental surfaces, why because inside the sryrings the blood is not exposeded to air. It can live up to days weeks inside a neddle. Hiv is a real serious illness and i understand you won't to help, but you don't have facts here. Thank i never needed your help i just think it's not good for people for you do.

Explain to me how hiv in a drop of blood can live for hours. It would take a lot of blood to live for hours and even then it would have to be in a lab/control setting. I don't understand where you get this information from. No one would ever tell someone that hiv can live outside the body for hours in a drop of blood. I don't think you have real knowlege about how hiv is transmitted. My sister has this desease and hiv specilist said that you're wrong about this virus living for hours in a drop of blood. Learn the real facts before you try to advise people you can really scare people not even the cdc says this.

I wonted to know if a person can be infected with hiv if a drop of infected blood is on the floor in the bathroom. I'm sorry for saying this is a bad site i just get so fearfull of hiv. I'm sorry and god bless.
-----Answer-----
Not unless you have an open wound on your foot or whatever it is you're touching it with.  If not then you have nothing to worry about.
-----Answer-----
This is true, after so many hours the virus cannot live without a living host.
-----Answer-----
I hate to break it to you but A virus can live for so long outside of a human host.  If you don't like my answers then don't ask me the question.  I went through the schooling and I earned my 4.0's thank you very much.  Have a wonderful day.

Read this information:
Blood transfusions
Some people have been infected through a transfusion of infected blood. These days, in most countries all the blood used for transfusions is now tested for HIV. In those countries where the blood has been tested, HIV infection through blood transfusions is now extremely rare.

It is possible but rare. You have to by some crazy chance have an open woud on your foot and you have to have stepped on it within like ten minutes.

Answer
That means I have been to College and I have learned my stuff.  I graduated High School at 16 and put myself through college.  I went to school for everything that I am sharing.  You can catch HIV through blood transfusions and (also through sharing needles...amazing huh?).  I am not arguing with you.  I know what I am talking about.  Why do you think when you get blood on you from an HIV infected person that everyone get anxious and nervous about how you might have contracted the virus.  YOU CAN CATCH IT THROUGH BLOOD.  If CDC doesn't tell you that then that is their own fault, they need to tell people no matter how low the risk are.  If you want to disagree then that is fine go for it, but don't waste my time when others are coming to me needing help and I have to sit here and waste my time arguing with you.

Experience

I am attending school for my licenses to teach in Cell and Molecular divison, this is a recent change in my career I was going to school for surgical technology. We have to know all about STDS and other diseases. My personal experience is I have HPV. It is not AIDS or HIV but it is a STD that can cause cancer. I had to deal with the stages of feeling dirty and unworthy and scared. I think that I can help people get past this and further their knowledge of HIV and AIDS.
