Question
well a long time ago when i was in 8th grade i started expirimenting with sex. i stopped after 8th grade and realized it wasen't right for me. the only thing i did was give unprotected oral sex.

now 3 years later, im freaking out. could i have HIV. is it a large chance. I have a soar throght right now and my lymph nodes in my left airpit hurt. ahh i cant just tell me parents, because they have no idea. =(

Answer
Unprotected oral sex does pose a risk of HIV. Do you still see any of the people you performed oral sex on? If so, you could ask them about their HIV status. Or, you can visit your local health department which should offer free, anonymous testing. Although unprotected oral sex carries a risk, it is a smaller one than unprotected vaginal and anal sex.
