QUESTION: sir i know once the hiv infected blood outsides the body dries, hiv is dead in it and can't be transmitted to another person. What does the words "outsides the body" means.Does it means anywhere outsides the body like inside my home.please explain.

Answer
Outside the body means anywhere outside of the body...once the transmitting fluid leaves the body and is somewhere in the environment- blood spill on a hospital floor, used condom left on the street, in a home etc. Environmental HIV transmission is EXTREMELY rare.
