I had sexual contact with a sex worker 1 month ago, though i had taken preventive measures, by using condom, but in between the activity i feared that it had tored so i wore another condom over it, after the whole activity the the semen was inside the condom, but i dont know which one(the first or the second). After 15 days i did DNA-PCR TEST and results were NEGATIVE.so r this results conclusive or there is need 2 go for other test after 3 or 6 months. Also i want 2 know after how many days DNA -PCR TEST should be done so that the results will be conclusive.some say it should be done after 7 days some say 15 days and some say 28 days .so after how many days it shuld be done so that it can detect the virus in blood?plz answer as soon as possible i m worried..

Answer
I'm confused- you wore an extra condom that didnt break? In that case, there is no reason to be worried. Although, wearing two condoms isnt safer- friction between the two condoms can lead to more tearing than would happen normally. Remember that for future reference.

Whoever gave you the test, should have counseled you on these matters. You should receive HIV counseling whenever you seek HIV testing.
