AnswerHi Jake,
There is less than 0.05% chance of contracting HIV from oral sex... The 0.05% chance is due to individuals with open wounds/ulcers inside their mouth or penis. This increases their risk of contracting any infections.
As far as other STIs, you have a risk of contracting gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphillis, herpes type 1 and/or 2, warts/hpv, and fungal infections.
As far as cumming inside his mouth, you are not at risk. The individual swallowing your cum will be at an increase risk of contracting infections from you.
I recommend using a special condom when giving/receiving oral sex. The only problem that many men have stated is their inability to receive the same satisfaction without the condom.
You have to use your best judgment.
I do recommend that you have a complete STI screening once every 3 months. It is provided for free by your local health department... if you are in the US. The clinic is full service with physicians, nurses, and counselors on staff. It is confidential and you will get your HIV, as well as a few other STIs, within 20 minutes to an hour after seeing the physician. Check your local yellow pages or call your department of health for a directory of clinics close to you.
