Question
i was tested for STDs and infections at the GUM clinic and was clear. Knowing i didnt have anything i stupidly had unprotected anal sex knowing i cudnt infect anyone and assuming as i was the one penetrating i cudnt be infected either. i now know this isnt true due to permiable membrane in the penis. Do i need to go get checked out? is the risk just as high when penetrating?

Answer
Receptive anal sex is riskier because of possible tearing of the rectum. However, any kind of unprotected sex carries a risk. I can't tell you whether you should get tested or not- that's something you should decide knowing you have been in a risky situation.
