Question
Hello, my name is Michelle and I have a project at school about AIDS. If you can please answer these questions:

People who are HIV Positive, how do they initially react toward their situation?

Do support groups help these individuals gain a good attitude about AIDS?

When is the time to start getting treatment?

Thankyou, it would be very helpful if all questions got answered and I'm sorry for three Q's instead of one. :)

Answer
I can only answer the last question that people should seek treatment as soon as possible. That way it gives the medicines time to protect the body's immune system before it has been too compromised by the virus.

For answers to the other questions, I would ask someone who actually diagnoses people with HIV such as health department officials, or specialty physicians.
