Question
Hello, we recently got a new house guest.  I have no reason to believe she has aids/hiv, but for the purpose of worrying let's pretend she does.
Could I catch it if she ..........

1. Used my lip gloss?
2.  Used my vaginal cream? (cream you would put on your finger then on your vaginal area)( I don't know why she would do this, but I worry about it, I am going to hide it to stop the worrying)

What should I be careful of just to prevent any problems?  Using the same soap okay?  What about toothpaste?
Thanks for your time in helping me conquer a fear.

Answer
Well, there have been only few cases of HIV transmitted to people living together in the first place. But using lip gloss and vaginal cream doesnt pose a threat.

Dont share anything that has the risk of exchanging blood, vaginal fluid and or breast milk. So, do not share razors and toothbrushes-although the chance of contracting HIV even if you did is still very small. So, dont worry!
