Question
Hi

While I was having sex the condom broke. only noticed after I have finnished.Day after I banged my right thigh into a table (pretty hard , as my collegues

asked if I was okay ) and I did not notice any pain. the following day in the afternoon I started to have pain in both sides of my groin. I tried to strech my groin

thinking it was going to relieve the pain but it made it worse.when I pressed on my pubic area I felt pain on both sides of my legs.I could'nt walk okay and

also I was very painful when I tried bringing my legs together ,getting out the car and also standing up was also painful .the pain lasted about 6 days.
I went to the doctor he said it was nothing serious. He scheduled me for ultrasound .After the pain was gone  I noticed that my left inner upper thigh is swollen

a little but not painfull and slightly tender when I touched. The swelling is on the other leg that was not injured.
Now I panic a lot that I might be affected with HIV and I cannot sleep . I examine my body everday and I feel pain in m knees my shoulder I my toes

sometimes in my elbows. I feel every movement on my body .I dont know if its because I am looking for something wrong. I contacted the woman I had sex

with and she really freaked out and she told me she does not have anything she has reguler check up.she also said that now she is worried that I have

something but she also thank me for telling and she requested me to update her about everything.

could it be that I am infected from what I decribe?
or I am just paraniod ?
or maybe the injury I had in my thigh cause all the problems?

thanks

Answer
When a condom breaks, vaginal fluid and seminal fluid can cross the barrier which is what would transmit HIV. If your partner did not in fact have HIV, then you would not have contracted it in that situation.

If you were infected, you would not be having symptoms this quickly. You should see your doctor again due to the amount of pain you are having.
