Question
QUESTION: hi u all are doing great job thnx o all of you as are helping us in a great way,now my question is aroud 2 years i had a insertive oral sex episode which lasted about 4 to 6 minutes in which i came .after taking my dicck out i never notice any cut or abrasion on it and no visible blood on it so what are my chances of getiing hiv through this single episode ,please help me i am in very distress ,thank you
ANSWER: Dear Rohit:

Peace.  The fluids that most easily transmit HIV are semen, blood and blood products, vaginal secretions and breast milk.  Note "saliva" is not listed.  "No visible blood" suggests no significant exposure to the above fluids.

So don't be distressed - for greatest assurance go to a counseling and testing center or talk with your health professional and be tested for an informed peace of mind.

All the best to you and yours.

QUESTION: if there were some blood present which we cant see with naked eye then what are my chances dr bob says there should be visible blood ,then also i am not at risk .please do reply and i know that lady froem last 10 years.thank you i am very worried dont be rude thank you

Answer
Dear Rohit:

Peace.  Apologies if something before was considered rude.  As I mentioned, HIV is found in the aforementioned fluids; if there is no visible blood it can be assumed that there is not enough of the infectious fluid present to be significant risk to you.  I hope this is clearer.
