Answer
The AS/400 is a mid-sized business computer, although NOT PC-based or network based. It is affordable, fast, highly reliable, and highly expandable. It has a sophisticated database and is quickly and easily programmable in traditional business programming languages such as RPG and COBOL. It links easily to PC networks. Virtually any device with an IP address can be linked to it through an existing network.
