Question
What is an acceptable percentage over a two hour period of the percent busy in the wrkdsksts command? When should I add more disk due not to space but to disk arm utilization?
That's a good question, and one that is commonly asked, but also one to which IBM gives no simple answers. Much of their literature regarding performance statistics is couched in terms of "if the statistics do not meet your goals". I recommend starting with the link below:
