How can I find the record which errored out while writing a duplicate in a file? Can Journal dump or job log gives this information?
When the duplicate key message appears, select the 'D' dump option. This will produce a report in the QEZDEBUG output queue. Determine which index or indexes over the file are uniquely keyed (they have the UNIQUE keyword in the DDS). The program DUMP listing will show you the values of the key fields at the time the error occurred, and these tell you which record caused the error.
