after powering on the system  after 2 minutes  receives error code and attention light  error code # 9143BE01  please any help or suggestion,s  I have no tapes except some backup tapes
and I have no paper work for the system. Can you help me get around this error please.

This is a hardware error, and you may need IBM hardware support (1-800 IBM-SERV) to help you figure out the cause. You might check that you have a system console - configured as port 0 address 0 - attached to the system. My best guess - without access to IBM's hardware code meanings - is that the message relates to a system console or workstation controller problem.
