Question
My question is that what type of program we can create in
AS/400 using control language?

Answer
CL language is used to create programs that execute a series of AS/400 commands, typically to control the calling and passing of parameters to other programs.  For example, a CL program might use a display file to prompt for a series of options (say, a range of dates to control selection of transactions for printing, a number of copies to print for a requested report, and an output queue to send the report to.)  The CL program allows you to issue commands to override the printer file before calling the report program, to which you might pass the date parameters.
