Question
I am a Network Engineer doing on site IT for a Graphics company that uses AS400 for their purchasing and data bases. They recently moved and I need to update their address that prints on there purchase orders and shippers that print from AS400. Could you please tell me where I would do this in AS400?

This can vary, depending on the software they use. It might be hardcoded as a constant in the printer files that print the PO's and shipping documents, or it might be read from a company file and then printed. You need an AS/400 programmer to determine this - it should take around 1/2 hour to research it, and perhaps up to an hour to change it for you.  The place to begin is with the name of the program that prints the document. Often, the program name is printed on the document - usually at the top left. The programmer can then determine what library the program is in, and where the source code for that program is (if the company owns source code) with IBM's DSPOBJD command. If the company does not own the source code, the programmer may not be able to help you. The place to start is either with IBM, or a local IBM business partner.  They should be able to refer you to a programmer.
