Question
In client access when I use the print screen button, I get dots for each character that should have printed. This happens with work act job screen or other screens. I can copy the screen to notepad and print and everything shows up. I'm using V5r3 and this happens from more than one computer or terminal server. Any help would be appreciated.

Most 5250 emulation software packages allow the user to map keys on the keyboard to specific functions.  Check that your print key is mapped to the "local print" function rather than a "system print" or other function. From there, the 5250 emulation software should simply handle the copy/print function.  If not, it may be a question for the company who manufactured the 5250 emulation software.
