Hi,
I want to write a small program which will accept the Name/Address1/Adderss2/Address3 and will generate a document that will open using MS Word in AS400. Can anyone help me regarding this?

I apologize for the delay in answering your question - I was out of town and out of e-mail contact.

To write the program you request requires a simple display file to request the name & address information, an RPG, COBOL or other program to read the data, and a physical file to receive the data.  The data can then be copied to a folder on the AS/400 as a .TXT file, which Microsoft Word can open.  It might be a one hour job for an experienced AS/400 programmer, but is more complicated than can be explained easily by e-mail to a non-programmer. The skills required would likely be learned in the first few lessons of a self-study course in RPG/400 programming.
