Question
hi, I am a beginner to ASP.NET WEBAPI(VS 2010 SP1- ASP.NET MVC 4). Our WebAPI has 2 methods to provide service(exposing data) to client. I want to track how many times the client accessed the particular method(for accessing data) in the service per day, per hour. Show me the right direction. Thanks

Answer
Hi,

You can write your self logging for this.
Create your custom class to log the details into DB. Call its methods from every method to write a entry into DB with all the details you need.
Later on you can create the reporting.

I googled and found this
http://piwik.org/docs/tracking-api/
Check if this is of any help to you.
