Question
If i have a little money in the bank or possibly already in the negative a buck or 2, but am not worried about overdraft fees Is it possible to withdraw money from an Atm or swipe it?My bank is BB&T

Answer
Thanks for the question. I'll be glad to answer it.

When you use your card and ask for a withdrawal at an ATM, then ATM will contact your bank for clearance to dispense the requested amount.

If you don't have sufficient funds to cover the requested amount, then the bank will deny the request and the ATM will respond with an error message.

If you have even slightly more than the request, it will be accepted and you'll receive your money.

Bottom line: you'll need sufficient funds to cover the requested amount.
