Question
Before I got pregnant my menstrual cycle was 25 days long.  My last period started Oct 27.  I had a vacuum aspiration abortion on Jan 3rd.  When should I have my period by?  I was a little less careful than I should have been a couple weeks ago and I'm a bit concerned and anxious to start the pill.

I know it probably depends on the woman's body, but I was looking for an example of some sort.

I'm not a medical doctor so please check with your physician. I just had another question about this topic and I read that it could take 3 to 9 months to get your cycle back again. Did you go back for your followup appointment after the abortion? This is really important. When were you advised to start taking the pill again?
