Question
I was wondering if it has to be exactly 14 days after an abortion to insert anything into the vagina ex. sex , bathing, and mainly a suppository because the antibiotics perscribed to me caused a yeat infection and its killing me. it has been 11 days it ok to go back to my normal life including all of the above?

Answer
Hi Kat,
You should be fine to put in a yeast treatment.  At this point, you are probably safe to put anything in the vagina.  There haven't been good studies of how long to wait, but probably after 10 days you are safe.  Certainly, there should be no problem with a yeast treatment.
I hope it helps and you feel better!
