Question
Should I expect my periods the same date I had my abortion?

Answer
You will most likely bleed the day of the abortion although this depends, some people bleed very lightly and others heavier. This is not a period but a result of the abortion. This can last for a couple weeks. You should get a proper period within 8 weeks.
