Question hello diane.2weeks ago i had a surgical abortion,the procedure seemed to had gone well.one thing im worried about is,since after i had the abortion ive been on my periods since.till today they haven't stoped.and during the first week of my periods i usually had crampings but now they gone.should i be worried due to my long periods or is it normal?

Thanks for your question. Since you are 2 weeks now, did you have your post abortion checkup? Several women lately have had this same problem as you with extended bleeding. I am concerned about this and please check with your doctor. If the place you had the abortion isn't concerned, then please go to another doctor. That's all I can tell you right now.
