hello diane.2weeks ago i had a surgical abortion,the procedure seemed to had gone well.one thing im worried about is,since after i had the abortion ive been on my periods since.till today they haven't stoped.and during the first week of my periods i usually had crampings but now they gone.should i be worried due to my long periods or is it normal?

Thanks for your question. Since you are 2 weeks now, did you have your post abortion checkup? Several women lately have had this same problem as you with extended bleeding. I am concerned about this and please check with your doctor. If the place you had the abortion isn't concerned, then please go to another doctor. That's all I can tell you right now. Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
