Question
I had a medical abortion 4 months ago and got the rod implanted in my arm.
I was told that I may get a regular period, blood now and again or not at all.
After the abortion I blead for about 2 weeks and
stopped. I then started bleeding every 2 weeks for up to 10 days. Recently
Ive been bleeding for 17 days.. I'm pretty worried and dont know what to
think. Also I havnt been back to my gp for my visit after the abortion. Any
help ?

Thanks for your question. I advise you to go to your doctor as soon as possible. The bleeding you are describing sounds like it could be serious. This could be from the abortion or from the implanon. I found some studies on implanon. Here's some information below
