About Pat G
Expertise
I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of six. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues.

Experience
I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.

i had an abortion march 19th, it is now april 27th and i did not get my period yet..about 4 weeks after the abortion i did have sex with my boyfriend using a condom and he did not ejaculate..i just took a pregnancy test today n its positive am i pregnant again?

Answer
Hi, Brittany,

It is entirely possible you are pregnant again. If so, obviously, your abortion didn't solve anything. In my experience, some women repeatedly get pregnant until they carry one to term. Another possibility is that in your abortion, they didn't get everything, and you could still be pregnant from that occasion. To find out for sure if you are pregnant, you will need to see a doctor or have a test that confirms the results of the first one. Nobody can tell you over the internet.

Please know that condoms are not reliable. If people use them consistently, there will be a pregnancy in about 20% of the cases over a year's time. Some condoms are defective. In fact, I know of one agency that deliberately hands out defective condoms. They make money when a woman becomes pregnant, by doing an abortion on her. Also, a condom can be used incorrectly.

It's too bad you weren't familiar with cervical mucus, because you could have known you would be fertile, if that was the case. To learn more about this, please visit this web site:

Let me know how this turns out, and if you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I will answer them if I can. Stay safe!
