About Pat G
Expertise
I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of six. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues.

Experience
I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.

Question
i was about 10 weeks when i (being as clumsy as i am) fell off my front porch. i landed on my stomach and have been having horrible cramping pains in my pelvis area i haven't bled or anything and it been a week now and I'm just not sure...i would go see a doctor but being the fact that I'm 16 and living with my boyfriend and his parents...i just don't have the money...can you help shed some light my way...please and thanks Brittany ^ ^

Answer
Hi, Brittany,

If you haven't lost the baby, it isn't a miscarriage yet. That said, this sounds potentially serious. And the damage may not even be to your uterus or your baby.

You can see a doctor. Please visit this site:

http://www.pregnancycenters.org/

You can locate a pregnancy center in your area. They will arrange for you to see a doctor, and almost always their services are free. If they aren't free, they cost very little. They will help you. It sounds like something that does need attention. So please go to a center right away. Good luck to you, and let me know how it turns out. I will keep you in my prayers.
