About Pat G
Expertise
I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of six. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues.

Experience
I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.

Subject: will Progesterone will help to Abortion

Question
QUESTION: My question is, will progesterone injiction will help to abortion the baby, probably it is a month. we took the pacient to the doctor, she advice to give her this injiction i hope it will help to Abortion soon, but i want to hear from you as well, please send me to my mail.

ANSWER: Hi, Farid,

Normally, progesterone serves to maintain a pregnancy. I would have to say, generally, no, it can't be used for abortion. It doesn't seem like the person who is telling you these things knows what she is talking about.

Abortion is always dangerous. It's not something I would ever recommend. It's much safer to have the baby, and if you can't raise him or her, to give the baby up for adoption. Abortion can cause serious complications or even death. If you are seeking an abortion to keep the pregnancy secret, it may very well not work, because if there are complications, people will find out.

It is possible you are concerned about religious issues and reactions, and the possibility that harm can be deliberately inflicted on the mother. If this is the case, please seek a place of sanctuary. Let me know if this is an issue.

QUESTION: But we do not want the baby, it is just amounth, is there any why or medication to ......., please please,

thanks so much

Answer
Farid,

I can't help you hurt her. If you don't want the baby, put him or her up for adoption. There are so many dangers involved that I would never help her get an abortion. If she got hurt, I would never forgive myself. I will be here to support you, but I can't help you do this. An abortion could kill her or leave her disabled.

An abortion with medication could leave her in serious trouble. For example, if she gets medication from a doctor who doesn't care if she is hurt or not (and there are a lot of these out there; even though it's legal where I live, there are still plenty of doctors who do bad medicine), and gives her the wrong instructions, she could be dead within hours, and nobody would be able to stop it. Or, it could not work, and then she'd have to have a surgical abortion. And there are many, many dangers to a surgical abortion as well.

There is no method that is safe, and I don't know of any doctor I would entrust her to. I don't want that on my conscience.

The emotional price by itself is horrendously high. Please go here and read about it:

http://www.afterabortion.com/

This site is run by a woman who believes in legal abortion. But it contains much information about the damage abortion does emotionally to women.

I will talk to you, regardless of what you do, but please don't ask me to help you hurt her. Keep her safe.
