AboutPat G Expertise I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of six. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues.
Experience I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.
Education/Credentials I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.

Question ok so i feel soo stupid :( i had an abortion on april 11 and had sex two weeks after. since then i had unprotected sex four times and today (may 17) i still haven't gotten my period. i bled for the full two weeks after the abortion (idk if that has any type of importance). i know it is possible to get preg after an abortion but is there a HIGH chance that im pregnant again or am i worrying too soon (im only 5days late)? is it normal to be late after an abortion? please help? im soo confused :`(
Answer worried,
I do have one question. I don't imagine the abortion was something you'd love to repeat. Correct me if I am wrong. If that is the case, why do you keep taking chances? Well, enough of that.
I don't know what normal is after an abortion. An abortion is a huge disruption of a woman's body, and of her hormones. In my opinion, there's no such thing as normal. If you are five days late, you should be able to use a pregnancy test, and get an accurate reading. Here is a site with information about pregnancy tests:
The bottom line is that the only way you are going to answer questions about your body specifically is to go to a doctor and let him examine and test you. Nobody can tell you what is going on with your body over the internet, not even a doctor.
