About Pat G
Expertise
I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of six. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues.

Experience
I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.

Question
hi, i was reading your answer to jessica's letter and u said something about pain that is suddenly relieved (go straight to e.r.). i'm aroughly 4 weeks pregnant and i am considering a termination but i keep getting a strange pain, which only lasts a few seconds, on my right side. should i be worried?

Answer
Kelley,

Thanks so much for writing!

You should have that checked out. It could be appendix, too, I imagine.

If you seek to have an abortion, please be aware that many abortionists do not identify tubal pregnancies. Women will experience pain afterwards and think it's because of the abortion, and they're not alerted. I have a very dear friend who went for an abortion. She had a tubal pregnancy, and the abortionist didn't diagnose it. To make a long story short, the tube ruptured, and she had to have an emergency operation to save her life. She came so close to death that she actually had an out of body experience!

Would you want to talk about your decision and what you are thinking? I would be happy to discuss it with you.

Stay safe!
