hi.. well i got an abortion the 30th of april & i havent got a real peroid since so i took a pregnacy test today june 6th and it came out with a faint possitive.. i was wondering if it came out possitive because i still have the hormones in the body or if i could be pregnant again?!

Hi Kendra,
It is very common to have a positive pregnancy test for weeks to up to 2 months after an abortion.  It is less likely but possible to be a new pregnancy.  The best way to find out is to take another pregnancy test in one week.  If it is darker, it is likely a new pregnancy.  If it is the same or lighter, it is probably from the first pregnancy.
