Abortion/Pain after Abortion

Question
I had an abortion on 11 July 2008 and was told there wouldn't be any pain. They asked me what method I wanted to use due to the fact that I was 6 weeks pregnant. I told them i wanted to use the drug method. The Doctor told me the procedure and said that by the end of the day everything will be ok and that I would have a doctor with me. To my disgust - no doctor was present. Now I'm experiencing abdominal cramps and still bleeding. I have spoken to my mother about it and she told me that I shouldn't be in any pain. I was under the assumption that when the drug worked everything would be expelled and that would be it. Im worried mainly because I dont think the doctor explained the procedure properly and the after effects. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Please let me know how you are doing. Did you get the below answer from allexperts? Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com

Angel,

Yes, you should be normal soon. Why not go to another doctor and get a second opinion? You also should find out why you have pain and abdominal cramps. Also, I don't like the fact that they told you that you would be with a doctor and they didn't let you have that as promised. Let me know if there is anything further developing. You may email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com

Thanks.
