Question QUESTION: its been 5months since i had my aborting, i trying to get pregnant again, No luck, can it be because of abortion? and also i didn't go for the follow up check up can i stil go for the follow up check up and see what's going on.

ANSWER: Dear Lini,
Yes, you can still go for the follow up check-up. It is very important to do this. If the abortion went as planned, it should have no effect on your trying to conceive. However, if there was a problem, like an infection, it could be the cause of your trouble now. Your follow up appointment will clear all of this up for you.

Symptoms of infection are fever, chills, and nausea. You would most likely have noticed these soon after the abortion. The pain in your abdomen is probably related to digestion, like gas, etc. Still, make sure you have your follow up.
