QUESTION: I had an abortion on 25 June, my first period came on 19 July, It's very very little and very painful on the 1st & 2nd day. The period completely ends after 4-5 days. Extremely little during this period and most of the time was brown color.
Now, on 3rd August, My painful comes again without period. The painful lasts for 1 day.
Is this normal? (FYI, I did my check up after 2 weeks of my abortion, everything was ok.)

QUESTION: Thanks for your reply to my question. I am very apreciate for it.

Actually I do not have these pain before my abortion. I also hardly feel pain during my period all the while.
This is my 2nd abortion and my first abortion is 10 years ago. Between this period(10 yrs) i already have 2 kids now with 4 & 6.
I have called to my doctors, due to my regular doctor do not provide abortion service, I look for another doctor for abortion, which also my 1st abortion doctor. My regular doctor said that I only require to go back for check up during the pain, and no need to go back if the pain has gone. And my abortion doctor said my period was blocked and I only need to go back during my 2nd period if still very light. He will put something inside to let the period smooth. I am not really sure what that is in English(b/c I am a Chinese from Malaysia) as I know that this procedure is not a surgical procedure and can be done just a few minutes, it also has birth control purposes.

So, those doctors really make me confused. My most concern question was my lower abdominal pain is normal? Or is it possible due to my uterus is shrinking back to normal? FYI, My had an early abortion, the fetal is about less than 7-8 weeks.

Hi Cheryl,

I am concerned that your abortion doctor is saying that he wants to put something inside you. I don't know what that would be and am concerned that it would not be safe for you. Also, I don't recommend birth control and it is hormonal and could affect your health. I don't believe that the lower abdominal pain is normal. Please try to get another opinion about this.
