I had a medical abortion procedure recently and believe that there is the possibility that I may be pregnant again. I took Cytotec (phase 2 of the medical abortion procedure, on July 20th. On the 21st I began bleeding heavily. 2 weeks later I stopped bleeding and had sex with my husband. We agreed he would pull out. HOWEVER....he didn't. My pregnancy tests are still coming back positive. Not only that but there is no issue with  "faint lines" on the pregnancy test...they pop up quickly and bold. In my experience the bolder and quicker the line pops up the more potent the HCG is in your urine. Anyways, I'm just trying to figure the likelihood of being pregnant again?

Has anything further happened since you posted this question? I'm wondering if the positive could be false because of the leftover hormones in your body. Or it is possible that you could be pregnant. I can't tell you for sure if you are pregnant. I would recommend a pregnancy test at your doctor or at a pregnancy resource center.
