Question i had an abortion about a month ago and began takin the pill that sunday. a coulple of days ago i had unprotected sex and i was wondering if i could be pregnant again? im not sure how soon the pill takes affect but i hope u can help me with this thanks!

Some brands recommend using a back-up method of contraception for the first week. other brands say for the first month. If you read the insert that came with your pill package it usually tells you somewhere in there the answer to your question. Or, you can call the pharmacy where you got your prescription filled, and ask them. Pharmacists are usually an excellent source of information.
If, after reading your insert, it says that you should have been using a back-up method for a month, you might be at risk of getting pregnant again. Since the unprotected sex happened very recently, you can probably use your own birth control pills as Emergency Contraception. Go the the following website:
