MY 36 YR OLD BEST FRIEND HAD AN ABORTION ABOUT 3 MTHS AGO AND HAS BEEN HAVING NIGHTMIRES AND WAKING IN A COLD SWEAT, I MYSELF HAVE NOT HAD AN ABORTION SO I'M NOT SURE HOW WELL I CAN HELP I'M WANTING TO FIND A SUPPORT GROUP FOR HER.PROBLEM IS SHE HAS 2 KIDS ALREADY AND DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO A GROUP WITH TEENS.IS THERE ANY GROUPS YOU KNOW OF IN ROCHESTER MN?I'M VERY WORRIED ABOUT HER SHE HAS PUT A GUN TO HER HEAD WHAT DO I DO???HER HUSBAND AND HER ARE SEPERATED AND IS NO HELP..PLEASE HELP ME HELP MY BESTFRIEND BEFORE HER TWO BOY'S HAVE NO MOTHER.. Thanks for your email and for caring about your friend. This is common to have nightmares and also suicide has been discovered to be a possible side effect of abortion. Most pregnancy centers have post abortion counseling. I would recommend that you find a center there and then call them and see what they offer. It might be hard for her to call a pregnancy center. Go to http://www.optionline.org to find one in your area. I could also send you some post abortion websites that might be helpful. Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
