I had an abortion on the 8th November and as i always use to be have my periods regular when i didn't come on took a test and it was positive, however today i started bleeding a little so im confused can i still have a hormones 9 weeks later?

Hi Marsha,

Yes, you can have hormones in your body still after that period of time. Each woman is different but your body should be getting back to regular cycles soon. I would recommend going to a pregnancy resource center and get a pregnancy test there. It's free and you can get advice and support. They can also tell you when is the right time to come in and get the test. Go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP.
