Answer Dear Jessica,
I do not judge women who have had more than one abortion. There should be no concern that the abortions are causing you difficulty in getting pregnant. If you are getting your periods, then the abortions did not interfere with your fertility. I think you are saying that you have been trying for 4 months (not 44 months?). This is not long, and it is common for women who do not have fertility problems to have it take 1-2 years to conceive. Most doctors don't recommend an evaluation until you have been trying for 2 years. However, you may be able to find a fertility specialist on this site who can answer more of your questions.
I hope this is helpful and good luck!,
