hi
i just need to know i had an abortion 4 months ago and i still haven't had a period i have check to make sure im not pregnant but im on the pill and still no bleeding i had and op abortion please help im going in sane i need some answers

It is possible that lack of a period could be to the disruption of your hormones from the abortion, but more likely, your pills could be suppressing your period. Sometimes the dose is too high for a given woman. My periods stopped after I had been taking the pill for about a year. These hormones also store in fatty tissue, so if you have lost fat recently, these would be released and that could increase the dose. If you were still pregnant, you'd know it by now. I hope you are able to find out what's wrong, but I urge you to take up this question with your doctor. Take care of your body. Abortion is dangerous, and pills are dangerous, too.
