I didn't tell this to anyone then i has intercourse many times after 2 weeks of abortion but now the concern is its almost 2 months now and i didn't get my period as of now. I keep getting cramps always feel that my period is about to start , white fluid also comes out with mild headache . I am really scared about cyst and my period please help.
Answer Dear Sonal,
It is common and normal to have a delayed menstrual period after an abortion. It can take 2-3 months for your period to come back to normal. However, you should check a pregnancy test to make sure it is negative. I don't know if it is possible for you to have become pregnant again. Small cysts are also completely normal and they usually resolve on their own. Almost all women who have an early pregnancy have cysts on their ovaries. It is unlikely that the cysts are causing you the pain you are experiencing. If the pain goes away with ibuprofen (800mg) it is probably related to your period, or other normal changes in your body. If it does not go away, or the pain starts to be all the time, or to get worse, you should see a doctor to evaluate you.
I hope this is helpful,
