Answer
Hello, ami,

First, please know that I am not a doctor. I am simply someone who has studied this for a very long time, and talked to hundreds of women.

Misoprostol is deadly. Please do not take it. You are far enough into your pregnancy that these drugs may not do anything anyway.

The manufacturer of Misoprostol says a pregnant woman should never take it. But there is an unscrupulous pharmaceutical house in India that is selling it in a kit. There are several ways Misoprostol can kill a woman, within hours or days. There are women in India who are bleeding to death, for example. It can also cause contractions so strong they will rupture the uterus. If you start to bleed profusely, be sure and eat spicy food with cayenne (hot red pepper) in it. Keep doing this periodically until the bleeding subsides. It is an emergency situation. Get medical help. Do not take Misoprostol in the vagina. It can kill a woman within hours with a nasty infection called toxic shock syndrome. This happens so fast that doctors in an emergency room don't even have time to diagnose it, let alone treat it.

Any kind of abortion is very dangerous. When they tell you abortion is safe, they're lying. Some women seem to get away with it, but in reality, a woman's body was designed to protect her baby, and the only way to do an abortion is to harm her in some way. Any kind of abortion can kill you. It can also render you disabled, or unable to have children, or it can harm your future children. It can greatly increase the chance you will get breast cancer while you are still young. Over 1/3 of the women who get a surgical abortion suffer permanent damage to their reproductive system. For these reasons, surgical abortion is dangerous as well.

Perhaps you can tell me why you felt the need to do this. If you need help in order to feel you can care for your baby, there are organizations that can help you. There are not many in India, but if there is none near you, and you contact one of them, they may be able to tell you where you can get help. To find an organization in India, go here:

http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp

Chose India from the country list. There are six. Click on "Details" to see contact information.

These organizations help with counseling, medical care, help with finances, supplies, furniture and clothes for the baby, and help with adoption.

Please don't risk your life like this. You deserve better. If nothing happens, go see a doctor and get some decent medical care. There are remedies that can help prevent any damage, but you must go immediately. Don't wait. You have taken a powerful and toxic drug. Please let me know how you do.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
