I was 21 weeks pregnant, i had a termination 3 weeks back by infusion of ethacrine. iam bleeding yet is it normal. how long should i take rest. is it necessary for me to wear an abdominal belt? how long should i be away from sex? what care should i take to have a safe future pregnancies? will my fertility be affected due to my abortion
Hi Riya,
It is not necessary to wear an abdominal belt. Get plenty of rest for at least 2 weeks. Eat healthy and iron-rich foods. Increase your fluid intake during the times you are bleeding. Avoid sex and swimming for 2 weeks as this could cause infection in your uterus. Your fertility will not be affected as long as you have no complications with this termination.
