Question
Just wanted to know the signs of an infection after u had an abortion and how soon can u get pregnant after an abortion? I got my period exactly two weeks after abortion but I had took plan b a week after abortion. Why did my period come so quick and could I be pregnant again? Thanks!!

Sometimes women get their period very quick after an abortion so this is nothing to worry about. You can get pregnant as early as two weeks after an abortion. The signs of infection include a high temperature, continuous and heavy bleeding which lasts longer than a week or soaks two or more pads each hour, for two hours in a row. Other symptoms might include a general feeling of being unwell, pain, abdominal tenderness or abnormal vaginal discharge.
